Technical Support
Jonas Fitness, Inc.

Christie Estrada's Herstory

I worked for a cellular company for many years, which gave me a solid customer support background. Then, 8 years ago, I decided to move back to Houston and find a job. At this time, a good friend of mine referred me to Jonas Fitness. So that’s where my little career began! I now work in software support, where I take calls from clients and assist them with their issues. Regardless of whether the issue at hand is similar to the previous one, there is always a new challenge thrown at you. And that’s the best part! Every call that comes through is unique in its own way, and that’s what I love and enjoy most about my role at Jonas! We get to win every challenge! I still can’t believe this year marks 8 years; it seems like just yesterday!

My driving force comes not just from myself and my own determination but also from the people around me. My co-workers, aka work family, have all been supportive and helpful in pushing me to become a better worker than I can be daily. Looking into our industry, from the administrative side to the support side and the client side, I feel the inclusion of women is growing already! There are a lot of ‘lady bosses’ out there! And I love that!

Remember to wear your crown daily! Keep that unique talent of yours and build on that daily! What you bring to the table will help you find your own way to shine!

Outside of work, I’m a very family-oriented person. I love being around my family! There is never a dull moment when all of us are together. I also enjoy spur-of-the-moment road trips! Those are the best, just to be able to pack up a bag and get in the car and drive! When not on the road or working, you’ll usually find me in front of a mirror creating art on my face, aka doing makeup… HaHaHa… I love doing makeup!
