The following updates have been tested by our Quality Assurance Team and will be released into Compete® on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at 4:30 AM EST.

Front Desk Agreements -Tax rounding calculation change
- When a member purchases multiple items via Point of Sale, the individual items with their tax components are summed up and then the total is rounded up to arrive at the final value. This is a change from the original calculation of rounding up the individual items first, and then summing to arrive at the final value.
Removal of Online Images in Back Office
- In Compete back Office, the online images section under the service details page, the fees page, and the products page have been deprecated and are no longer used for JOL configuration. These have thus been removed.
Add Product Category filter to “Sales by Product report”
- In Compete Back Office under Product Reports, the Product Category filter has been added.
Agreement Renewal
- API endpoint to renew agreements with the ability to add or remove family members and services using existing forms of payment or adding a new FOP.
Rewrite of GetMembershipPlanDetails/GetClubMembershipPlanDetails
- This method returns details for all membership plans available at a club.
API endpoint for saving agreements
- API endpoint to save a new agreement for a member.
Get Plan Totals
- API endpoint to fetch plan totals intended to display the information when a prospective member is viewing plan details.
These may or may not have affected your facility.
Compete Back Office
- When using the Product Data Export Utility users can now export data without an error.
- Post Dues process properly evaluates the Member Status using the correct client time zone.
- Next Dues Post date will advance when excluding services.
- Billing Statements will only be created for members with Zero Dollar Dues when the setting ‘Generate statements for members with Zero balances’ is enabled (check marked) in the Create Statement Preset.
- Only agreements with a Next Dues Post Date that match the Post Dues preset Next Dues Post Date are included when posting dues.
- Post Dues Backout in Back Office now uses the Client’s local time.
Compete Front Desk
- When using a Parent database, POS pricing will reflect from the Member’s Home Club.
- Membership type discounts are now reflected in the extended pricing.
- When updating a Personal Information Change Request for “Preferred name” the display name is also being updated properly.
- Appointments created now show in the client’s time zone correctly.
- Notes are now showing for all recurring appointments.
- Accounts marked with an invalid home phone and cell phone are correctly generating an alert on the Check-in screen.
Join Online (JOL)
- Agreement template merge fields are showing correctly when signing up via Join Online.
- JOL Agreement sale notification email formatted correctly.
- Featured plans are formatted correctly within JOL.
Empower ME (EME)
- EME will not allow double booking when appointments utilizing the same resources are scheduled at the same time, nor can a member be booked for overlapping appointments.
Reports
- On the Class instructor Commission report all classes are now displaying correctly.
- Member Data Import utility now imports members correctly.
- When selecting an Agreement Category within the Agreement Billing Audit report you will not receive an error.
- When running the Invoice by Date report, it now shows the employee username instead of employee ID.
- When trying to batch update “Allow Online Search” for members via the “Batch Change Members Fields” utility, Compete will no longer generate an error and batch update will go through successfully.
- When running the Apply Gift Card Service Charge utility, no error will occur while trying to apply the service charge on selected gift cards.
- When sending automated emails to customers via the Email utility, the merge fields for @StatusEnds@ is now correctly displayed in emails.
- Enrollments by class report is showing the enrollments for inactive classes for past dates.
- When selecting the “View amount changes on a member-by-member basis” running the Compare billing events report, the user will not receive an error.
